Still Lifes 2019
Saturday morning is the farmer’s market in New Braunfels. That was the beginning of this arrangement.
Next, I have many old objects around my house – some are collected, some are inherited. I am always thinking about how I can use them in a photo as I did with this very old copper and brass scale that took me over an hour to polish. The Cherokee basket from was purchased by my husband as a gift for his mother long before I met him. The faux bird was a gift from my daughter.
My friends: the butterflies, spider and, of course, my sweet cat on the cell phone.
